PENGGUNAAN VIRTUAL REALITY DALAM PEMBELAJARAN JASMANI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERSEPSI RUANG DAN KOORDINASI GERAK SISWA SMA
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan Virtual Reality (VR) dalam pembelajaran jasmani terhadap peningkatan persepsi ruang dan koordinasi gerak siswa SMA. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (Pretest–Posttest Control Group Design) dengan melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 60 siswa SMA Negeri 1 Mataram yang dipilih secara acak. Data diperoleh melalui tes persepsi ruang, tes koordinasi gerak, dan kuesioner motivasi belajar yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata peningkatan 33,9%, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya meningkat 13,4%. Analisis statistik menggunakan Independent Sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p < 0,05), menandakan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar yang bermakna antara kedua kelompok. Peningkatan tersebut disebabkan oleh pengalaman belajar tiga dimensi dalam VR yang memberikan umpan balik visual secara langsung dan membantu siswa memahami orientasi tubuh secara lebih akurat. Selain meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan motorik, pembelajaran berbasis VR juga meningkatkan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri siswa selama proses belajar. Dengan demikian, penerapan VR dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran jasmani untuk memperkuat persepsi ruang, koordinasi gerak, dan pengalaman belajar imersif di era digital.
