Penguatan Literasi Digital Multimodal Melalui Edukasi Public Speaking dan Jurnalistik Bagi Generasi Z

Abstract


Perkembangan media digital telah mengubah cara Generasi Z mengakses, memahami, dan memproduksi informasi melalui berbagai bentuk multimodal yang mengombinasikan teks, visual, audio, dan video. Artikel pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan dan hasil penguatan literasi digital multimodal melalui education public speaking dan jurnalistik bagi siswa SMAN 1 Woha Kabupaten Bima. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan edukatif partisipatif melalui penguatan literasi, penyampaian materi interaktif, diskusi, serta simulasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan perubahan pemahaman siswa terhadap literasi digital multimodal, kesadaran terhadap bahaya hoaks, serta kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan komunikasi lisan. Integrasi edukasi public speaking dan jurnalistik terbukti mengubah mindset dalam membangun literasi media yang kritis dan bertanggung jawab bagi Generasi Z di era digital.
