Peluang Integrasi Eco-ELT Berbasis Media Digital dalam Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peluang integrasi Ecological English Language Teaching (Eco-ELT) berbasis media digital dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris di Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Bima. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang berfokus pada sebuah Madrasah Aliyah swasta terakreditasi A bernama MAS Al-Husainy Kota Bima . Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan seorang guru Bahasa Inggris yang memiliki peran strategis dalam pembelajaran formal dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk memahami konteks pedagogis, budaya prestasi sekolah, serta pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konteks Madrasah Aliyah menyediakan fondasi yang mendukung integrasi Eco-ELT berbasis media digital, meskipun masih diperlukan penguatan pada aspek konseptual dan pedagogis. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Eco-ELT berbasis media digital memiliki relevansi sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan kompetensi linguistik, kesadaran lingkungan, dan literasi digital dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris di tingkat pendidikan menengah atas
